Tasha Seath, 61, struggled with high cholesterol despite her healthy lifestyle and regular pickleball matches. After rejecting statins due to potential side effects, she found a natural remedy by creating her own citrus blend that dropped her LDL, boosted her energy and improved her overall health—naturally!

"I lowered my cholesterol 177 points!"

My cholesterol is still climbing,” Tasha Seath told her husband, Mark, as she reviewed her latest lab work. Although the 61-year-old Idaho resident had been healthy and active all her life—with a passion for pickleball—high cholesterol ran in her family.

Her grandmother and sister had both been put on cholesterol-lowering medications, and over the years, Tasha’s doctor had offered to prescribe Lipitor, a type of statin to control her climbing levels. But Tasha refused, worried she could suffer side effects such as muscle weakness, liver damage and allergic reactions.

Anxious about how her soaring cholesterol levels were affecting her overall health, Tasha already battled achy joints and sore muscles. She learned that elevated cholesterol levels are also linked to inflammation that causes such pain.

I love playing pickleball and I can’t just stop exercising altogether, Tasha thought. Now postmenopausal, she had new concerns after researching online. She discovered that cholesterol levels often increase during menopause due to declining levels of cholesterol-regulating estrogen. This also meant an increased risk of heart disease, heart attack and stroke.

This can’t be me, Tasha resolved as true fear for her health began to kick in.

The Mary Tyler Moore SHOW

From That Girl in the 1960s to Ally McBeal in the 1990s to Sex and the City in the 2000s, television has long reflected the shifting image of independent women. Yet the true game-changer came in 1970, when The Mary Tyler Moore Show introduced Mary Richards—30, single, stylish and making her way in a newsroom full of men. Rather than being someone’s wife or daughter, she was the star, and she changed television forever. Join us for a look back at rare behind-the-scenes photos of the groundbreaking show as we celebrate its 55th anniversary.

Happy money, happy holidays

The holidays are here (yay!), and with them comes both joy and, let's be honest, stress. For many of us, the shopping lists, entertaining costs or the ache of an empty chair at the table can dim the sparkle of the season. If that's you, please accept my wishes that the days land lightly.
