Hot-weather fun, picnics and barbecues often come with a price – annoying spills and stains on clothes when you're nowhere near your usual armoury of stain-removal products! Here's how to deal with some of the season's most common culprits.

'Turn tops inside out and spray with white vinegar,' says Lynsey Crosbie, This Morning's Queen of Clean. 'It breaks down salt, sweat and aluminium in deodorants, softening buildup so it can wash away.' Leave for 15 minutes.
