APPLE EXPANDS SOLAR AND WIND INVESTMENTS ACROSS EUROPE
Techlife News
|October 18, 2025
Apple is doubling down on its commitment to renewable energy with a sweeping new initiative that adds hundreds of megawatts of solar and wind capacity across Europe.
The projects—spread across Greece, Italy, Poland, Latvia, and Romania—represent a key milestone in Apple’s global plan to reach full carbon neutrality by 2030.
More than just symbolic progress, the move underscores how Apple is taking practical, scalable steps to address its own operational footprint while helping accelerate Europe's transition toward a clean-energy economy.
A CONTINENT-WIDE RENEWABLE INVESTMENT STRATEGY

The new initiative expands that leadership to the next frontier—clean energy generation at scale, integrated directly into regional grids.
In the European Union, where climate policy and sustainability expectations are among the most rigorous in the world, Apple’s expansion is viewed as both an economic and environmental contribution. Local partners say Apple's involvement helps unlock financing and visibility for renewable projects that might otherwise take years longer to complete.
MATCHING AMBITION WITH ACTION
Apple's renewable progress stands out not only for its size but for its integrated approach. The company’s environmental roadmap focuses on three key pillars:
