The Cybercab, unveiled in October 2024 at Tesla’s “We, Robot” event, is a two-seater priced under $30,000, designed for urban ride-hailing with gull-wing doors and advanced Al. Optimus, showcased dancing in a May 2025 video, stands 5 feet 8 inches and weighs 125 pounds, built for tasks like assembly or caregiving.
Musk likened the robots to Star Wars’ C-3PO and R2-D2, suggesting they'll be personal assistants, with Tesla aiming to produce 10,000 to 12,000 units this year.
