What you need
- 800g cherries
- 150g cherry jam
- 50g caster sugar
- 2½ tsp cornflour
- Shortcrust pastry
- 2tbsp ground almonds
- Cream or ice cream
- Cherry stoner or chopstick
- Bowl
- Rolling pin
- 25cm pie dish
- Kitchen foil (optional)
Instructions
1 Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6. Now very carefully de-stone your cherries. If you don't have a cherry stoner, you can use a chopstick.
