Yorkshire duo to tackle 750-mile charity bike ride for MND research

Martin said he is “incredibly proud” to take on the challenge for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

Martin Mansell and Hamish Graham will take on the four-day cycling challenge from March 10-13 to support the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, one of the leading funders of MND research in the UK.

The charity was set up in 2017 by the late Scottish Rugby Union player George 'Doddie' Weir who died from MND in 2022.

In honour of Doddie, Martin and Hamish's cycling challenge will begin in his home town of Melrose.

From Melrose, the riders will cross Yorkshire, ending their first day of the charity challenge at Headingley Stadium.
