It's a dramatic week on the cobbles as Mick Michaelis escapes from prison, intent on going on the run with his family.
The thug is supposed to be safely behind bars following the brutal murder of PC Craig Tinker but that's all about to change.
The action begins with an agitated Mick reading a message on his burner phone in his prison cell. Meanwhile, Brody calls at No.4 for his little sisters, Joanie and Shanice.
When Sally reveals that Tim, is taking Joanie to a taster day at Weatherfield High, Brody masks his panic and secretly calls Mick who heads straight for the school, where mayhem ensues.
Daniel, Mrs Crawshaw and Sam are all left traumatised by the experience, but it’s Kit who ends up seriously injured in hospital after trying to apprehend his former friend.
Later, with Kit facing lifesaving surgery, Sarah and his mum Bernie sit at his bedside. Will Kit pull through? And has Mick made his escape?
