The Welsh Rugby Union says it has sold more than 120,000 tickets for this year’s three matches at the 72,500-capacity Principality Stadium, with Wales hosting France, Scotland and Italy in Cardiff over the course of the competition. According to the WRU's official online ticket office, there are more than 72,000 tickets still available to purchase across the three fixtures.
However, the union says it has seen spending behaviour change in recent years, with tickets being bought nearer to matchdays, and is now encouraging fans to “act quickly to avoid the rush” as the competition approaches.
After opening their tournament campaign against England at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, Wales’ first home game of the competition will see them host France at the Principality Stadium on February 15.
