Father and son teamed up to attack man in shop

A FATHER and son attacked a man in a corner shop by placing him in a headlock and punching him before pushing him into a fridge, which smashed and caused a gaping wound to the victim’s arm, a court has heard.

Horrified customers and the shopkeeper attempted to pull the attackers off their victim but they continued to punch him.
Michael Rudy, 44, and Mason Rudy, 21, attended Jane's Store in Cwmcarn, Caerphilly, on June 30 last year and saw victim Sam Burnett, who was talking to the shopkeeper. He was approached by Michael Rudy, who appeared aggressive and got up close to him.
