Poll finds just 8% think Starmer is on right track and 46% feel poorer

A poll found just 8% think Britain is heading in the right direction since Mr Starmer’s election landslide a year ago.

Almost half (46%) of those polled feel worse off than they did last July, while the same percentage think the party is focusing on the wrong things.

Even among Labour supporters the most common response is that things have been “a bit mixed”, with more thinking it has gone wrong than right.
