Littler’s love story has rekindled his hot streak

LUKE LITTLER'S surge to No.1 in the world was inspired by his Faith healer who turned a midsummer wobble into the hottest winning streak of his career.

When Luke the Nuke’s fortunes dipped six months ago, he missed out on back-to-back Premier League titles after making all the running over the 17-week campaign.

Then his double act with Luke Humphries at the World Cup of Darts was ambushed by hosts Germany as the Lukes of Hazard were dumped out in the first round.

But when 18-year-old Littler begins his defence of the PDC World Championship against Darius Labanauskas on Thursday night, he will be fortified by the power of love.
