Five-times married Michelle's heaven is snuggling her pets

- BY EMMA PONSFORD

LOTTO wife Michelle Oakes no longer sips champagne in her own pool or rides horses from her stables but she is loving life.

Five-times married Michelle's rollercoaster rags-to-riches-to-rags life means she is living in a 36ftx12ft static caravan. Approaching her 60th, the single mum-of-three, who vows to never wed again, has lost the four stone she piled on comfort eating through her unhappy marriages.

Happiness for Michelle now is snuggling up with labradoodles Betty and Kofi and cat Bruce in the cozy caravan that is smaller than the stable she had built next to her old swimming pool. She says: "On paper, I've lost everything. But I am the happiest I've ever been." Michelle's life changed when her second husband won Elmillion on the Lottery. She also thought she had hit the jackpot in 2016 when the builder who had worked on her dream Lotto home became her fifth husband.

Michelle's first marriage, to forklift driver Simon Corne in 1991, lasted four years. The pair, who had sons Matt, 37, and Charlie, 33, said they were too young to settle down.

Next came taxi driver and doorman Gary Brand, who scooped a £lm Lotto win in 1996. "Our lives changed overnight and we were so happy living the dream. We had our 1902 cottage converted into a beautiful big house with a swimming pool in the garden. Gary put in stables for my horses and a dressing room for me next to our bedroom.

"We had a triple garage for our fleet of flashy cars, including my lilac BMW, and electric gates out the front. Life was incredible. He was so kind.
