BAYERN MUNICH needed a late, late show from Luis Diaz and Nicolas Jackson to see off struggling St Pauli.

The reigning Bundesliga champions looked like having to settle for a share of the spoils at the Allianz Arena until they turned it around in added time.

The visitors took the lead with the game just six minutes old, Andreas Hountondji, on loan from Burnley, latched on to Mathias Pereira Lage's pass before beating Manuel Neuer.

But they had to rely on the woodwork to deny Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof, as Vincent Kompany’s side pressed for the equaliser.
