KYLE John looked forlorn as he came out to explain his and the Port Vale team’s feelings after the rout at Bolton Wanderers.

The wing-back knows Vale have a lot of work to do as they are already four points away from safety sitting second-bottom of League One.
“Obviously we are all gutted,” he told Port Vale TV. “We need to start getting results quickly. We are in a bit of a rut. And we need to get out of it asap.
“We have to start taking chances. It was a similar story against Stockport, we had a few chances, they scored and were clinical and the game was done. But at 2-0 we were still in the game and we just needed to start converting chances.”
