Vale recruit Devaney to coaching team

THE appointment of Martin Devaney as first-team coach has completed Darren Moore's management team ahead of Port Vale's 150th season.
The League One campaign starts on August 2 at Rotherham United and ahead of the season, Moore has named his backroom staff.
Devaney, aged 45, played as a midfielder with Cheltenham, Barnsley and Tranmere Rovers.
After moving into coaching he gained his Pro licence in 2022. After gaining his UEFA A coaching license, Devaney was appointed as a professional development phase coach at Barnsley in November 2015.
He went on to work with the club’s academy and development squads.
