Officer feared for his health after assault
A THUG has been spared prison after spitting a mouthful of blood in the face of a police officer.
Ryan Pritchard, aged 27, committed the 'disgusting act' after police were called to deal with a domestic dispute last September.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard how Pritchard had been in a heated argument with his mother, resulting in a broken window.
He had a bloodied nose and demanded police 'get the **** out of the way' when they arrived.
