SANDYFORD moved joint top of NSSCL Division Two with a resounding success at home against Norton in Hales seconds.
Norton in Hales were bundled out for just 106 on their road trip, in which Gary Owen (26), Jamie Batkin (21) and James Ruscoe (17) made the biggest impacts.
Preston Davies (3-24) and Gareth Kinsey (3-28) starred with the ball for the home side, with Kalhara Senarathne chipping in with two wickets.
Sandyford made light work of chasing down that target and comfortably wrapped up a nine-wicket success.
Matthew Taylor led the way with 54, which contained seven fours and one six, with Arran Browe weighing in with an unbeaten 32.
Longtime leaders Crewe now have company at the summit after being held to a draw at Elworth seconds.
Visitors Crewe were in fine fettle with the bat to pile up 251-9 from their 50 overs in the Cheshire derby.
Ollie Jarvis top-scored with 77 for Crewe, hitting seven boundaries in the process, with fine support coming from Lewis Bacon (40), Sam Youds (35), Ryan Briddon (28) and Ben Jarvis (24).
Oliver Bone captured 4-63 for the home side.
