Move comes as bid to find buyer has reportedly failed
A LONG-ESTABLISHED firm has collapsed into administration.
Clive Durose Limited had been trading from Newstead Industrial Estate on Trentham Road.
But an administrator has now been appointed.
Clive Durose had started the company in 1981 at the age of just 18. He made bowls and breadboards and sold them at craft fairs.
By the mid 1980s, the firm was producing table legs for the pub trade and stair components for staircase manufacturers from a base in Stoke, before relocating to the purpose-built premises at Newstead in 1991.
