San Juan Flood Control Projects 100% Existing, Operational

San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora yesterday assured the public that all 13 flood control projects in the city are "100 percent existing and operational," stressing that proper coordination with local government units (LGUs) is vital to ensure their effectiveness.

In an interview over dzBB, Zamora said the projects, including pumping stations, were implemented by the national government in close coordination with the San Juan local government to prevent flooding in the city.

"Yes, all projects are 100 percent existing. All our pumping stations are operational. The listed projects are visible to our residents," Zamora said.
