INDIA on Tuesday condemned Pakistan following a devastating airstrike on a hospital in Kabul that killed at least 400 people and injured over 250, calling the attack "barbaric, cowardly and unconscionable" and said Islamabad was trying to "dress up a massacre as a military operation.

- JAYANTH JACOB @New Delhi

In a strongly worded statement, Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, said Pakistan carried out the strike on the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital on the night of March 16, targeting a facility that "can by no means be justified as a military target." He described the bombing as a "cowardly and unconscionable act of violence" that resulted in large-scale civilian casualties.
