One-of-a-kind Christmas gift under the tree for local philosopher

A NORTH East philosopher woke to find a one-of-a-kind gift under the tree on Christmas morning.

A piece of Gateshead history will live on in the home of Edie Miller and her partner Tom after she surprised him with the sign for Computer House amongst his presents.
The couple both live in Gateshead and used to cycle past the former office block every day.
Tom, a philosopher whose work covers Al ethics, has always loved the sign.
