LIFELONG Sunderland supporter Luke Higgins has spoken about his love for the club and how it's "meant more than just results".

Speaking to safc.com, he described the seesaw of emotions he has been through in watching the Black Cats clamber back up the Premier League with his two children.
Having them there next to him at Wembley was special and he described his feelings.
"Nothing could have prepared me for the emotional rollercoaster of watching us win promotion back to the Premier League with my two kids, Amelia and Freddie, right there beside me at Wembley," he said.
"Our journey started days before the big game against Sheffield United. Flags packed, colours on, we made our way to London with hearts full of hope.
