Protesters lobby MP's office ahead of national demo

CND and Plymouth residents protested outside the offices of Armed Forces Minister Luke Pollard MP yesterday, ahead of a national demonstration opposing Britain's nuclear weapons planned to take place at Devonport Dockyard on June 7.

The dockyard, operated by Babcock, overseas the costly maintenance of Britain's nuclear submarine fleet, with current refits of Vanguard submarines costing £570 million each.
