AS a qualified doctor, Maritime Troop Commander Reserve Officer and now Olympian, Plymouth equestrian Kerenza Bryson hasn’t exactly limited herself to one life purpose.

Plymouth Olympian looking to inspire the younger generation

Bryson has been announced by Team GB as one of four modern pentathletes making the trip across the channel for Paris 2024, realising a childhood dream for the Plymouth star.

However, becoming an Olympic athlete hasn’t been Bryson’s one and only aspiration, balancing her sporting career with her work in both the army and medicine.

As she prepares for her Olympic debut this summer, she is hopeful to become an inspiration to young people, proving once and for all that it’s not wrong to pursue multiple dreams at once.

“One of my big things is trying to inspire the younger generation that they don’t have to just pick one thing, they can have a dual career or triple career if they want,” she said.
