HEARTBREAK FOR HIS LOVED ONES AFTER DIAGNOSIS
A MUCH-loved Plymouth dad has been given the devastating news that he has months left to live, after being diagnosed with end-stage liver failure.
Rob James' family and friends are now rallying around to help fulfil his last wish, to go on holiday with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Charlotte Morrant, Rob's daughter, has set up a GoFundMe fundraiser with a £5,000 target to help grant her dad “one final small break away with his family before he passes”.
The 52-year-old former DJ, flower seller and courier was diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver in January 2021. Charlotte explained her dad previously sustained a back injury while working, which led to Rob needing surgery on his spine.
