FIRST the good news for Plymouth Argyle. Striker Bim Pepple and midfielder Caleb Roberts are both available after injury for the away League One game against Bolton Wanderers today.

Now the bad news. Club captain Joe Edwards and attacker Freddie Issaka have been added to a casualty list which still includes goalkeeper Conor Hazard, left-back Jack MacKenzie and defender Julio Pleguezuelo, the latter who had knee surgery on Thursday. Head coach Tom Cleverley has admitted he and his staff have been looking into why Argyle have experienced so many injuries recently.

Edwards and Issaka both played as second half substitutes when Argyle lost 3-1 to Barnsley at Home Park in their first League One game of the season last Saturday but are ruled out against Bolton.

Cleverley said: "Joe Edwards will miss out, a slight hamstring issue from last weekend, and the same with Freddie Issaka, a bit more significant thigh injury. I think we are five on the sidelines. We did regain two of those but we have lost two so we are still five."
