Chief constable suspended over serious concerns about conduct

The chief constable of Staffordshire police has been suspended after serious concerns were raised about his behaviour outside work.
Chris Noble is under investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) for the matters, which predate his joining the Staffordshire force.
The watchdog said it was also investigating allegations that Noble had shared confidential information without a policing purpose.
