'Children have a right to a broad education'

A UNANIMOUSLY backed motion will see Middlesbrough Council write to the government regarding the safeguarding of kids who are home schooled.

The government will be asked to undertake an “urgent review” of home schooling, as the motion highlights the need for children to receive a minimum level of education, comparable with the level at an Ofsted inspected school.
