Pump prices hit record net increases as spikes continue

MANILA — Motorists should brace for another hefty pump price hike on Tuesday, September 9, with gasoline rising for the fourth week in a row, and diesel and kerosene on their third consecutive increase.

Gasoline prices are expected to rise by P1 per liter this week, alongside hikes of P1.40 for diesel and P0.70 for kerosene, according to oil firms.
Shell Philippines, Seaoil and CleanFuel announced the upward price adjustment in separate advisories on Monday, September 8.
