Mayor Mike Rama's call for "the rich to share" is more than a slogan. It is a strategy driving real progress in Cebu City.
By mobilizing private sector support through public-private partnerships (PPP), Rama is pushing to complete major projects like the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) and mid-rise buildings (MRBs) for housing.
When Rama returned as mayor in 2021, CCMC stood unfinished. Rather than wait for government funds, he invited the country's biggest conglomerates to take part.
