LGUs helping LTO-7 distribute plates

The Land Transportation Office in Region 7 (LTO-7) has intensified its collaboration with local government units (LGUs) to speed up the release of long-overdue and unclaimed vehicle plates across Central Visayas.

LTO-7 regional director Glen Galario is spearheading the initiative, personally meeting with mayors and governors to secure their cooperation in the distribution campaign.

“We have been going around the region and meeting with mayors and governors to seek their support for our plate distribution. We are glad that many of them are willing to coordinate with us and provide venues where motorists can claim their plates,” Galario said in a statement.

One of the latest LGUs to extend support is the Province of Bohol under Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado, who has allowed the use of the Bohol Provincial Capitol as an additional distribution site.
