DepEd-7 launches Brigada Eskwela 2025

The Department of Education Region-7 officially launched Brigada Eskwela 2025 at the Carmen Central Elementary School with a push for literacy and stakeholder involvement.

"This year, the main reason why we have Brigada Eskwela is to request support from all the stakeholders, both internal and external," said DepEd-7 regional director Dr. Salustiano Jimenez.
He said the program is now adopting a location-situation based approach.
"There will be a unique strategy and approach for each school in terms of their concerns," he said.
He also said Central Visayas is also asking for support in advocating for learner development.
"We're not only collaborating with people for the welfare of the children but also advocating support from parents and NGOs to make sure learners will be able to read and understand, and become responsible citizens," he emphasized.
"Sama-sama para sa bayang bumabasa" is this year's theme for Brigada Eskwela.
