City dad: SK officials should attend meetings

Amidst reports of failure to attend youth development activities, Councilor Nyza Archival is requesting the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation of Cebu City to ensure that members of the SK organizations within the jurisdiction of Cebu City are faithfully complying with their duties and responsibilities.

In her resolution, Archival's said the effectiveness and efficiency of the SK are vital to fulfilling its mandate and truly serving the youth sector.
The resolution came after she said that various complaints reached her office about an SK member not participating in youth development-related activities and even failing to attend meetings. In another report, she further said there was failure to attend sessions officially called to discuss upcoming and future barangay programs and projects.
