Dog ban now in place on some Cornish beaches

A SUMMER ban on dogs at some of Cornwall’s beaches is now in place.

The restrictions prohibit owners from taking their pets on the beach at certain times - and they risk a fine if they ignore the rules.
Cornwall Council enforces summertime restrictions at 11 beaches across the county.
Some have already begun, with other beaches affected in July and August only.
Privately owned beaches may have their own restrictions in force.
