Well, when it comes to this year's R3-million L'Ormarins King's Plate, that statement could finally be true.

Certainly, a better field of current runners cannot be assembled. They are all there - Eight On Eighteen, Dave The King, The Real Prince, Fire Attack, See It Again, Gladatorian, Cosmic Speed and top three-year-old Jan Van Goyen.

In fact, almost every middle-distance Grade 1 winner over the last year will be lining up for this Grade 1 event over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday.
