Paul limbers up for one of world's toughest races

Paul Holborn is no stranger to extreme challenges.

A dedicated supporter of Age UK Sunderland, Paul will be racing 293 miles (472 km) through the Swedish Arctic for the charity on Monday, February 9, completing a self-supported expedition from Abisko to Hemavan in the world-renowned Montane Arctic Spine.

Often described as one of the toughest races on Earth, the Arctic Spine is a nonstop foot race across the iconic Kungsleden Trail, surrounded by some of the most breathtaking-and brutal-winter landscapes imaginable.
