Man found with drugs and weapons avoids prison

A MAN found with hundreds of pounds of drugs and two weapons after a triple stabbing said the £1,000 in cash he was carrying was from selling puppies.

In the early hours of November 3 last year, police attended Stanley Street, in Blyth, in response to an allegation three people had been assaulted.

Newcastle Crown Court heard Robert Falloon was seen running away and was detained by police.

On being searched, he was found to be in possession of a “credit card knife” and a knuckle duster.

He also had cocaine worth around £300, ketamine worth around £200 and £1,027 in cash.
