SEAHAM Red Star produced a five-star performance to round off a stunning first week of the season with a big win against Prudhoe YC.
Ryan Appleby and — Ryan O'Connor led the way for Mark Collingwood’s men as they both struck twice after summer signing Lewis Porritt had opened the scoring as the half-hour approached.
Redcar Town also preserved a perfect start to the season as they emerged with all three points from their visit to Sunderland West End on Friday night.
Bryan Norton netted for the hosts, but it was Town that secured a third consecutive win thanks to Connor Smith, McCorie Carmichael and Kayden Robinson-Coley.
