Armed robbery gang locked up for 60 years

A GANG of six men have been locked up for a combined amount of more than 60 years after committing a reign of terror across the Black Country.

The men - Gavin Reilly, Craig Booth, Stephen Hall, Jason Hall, Paul Bagnall and Carlton Betts targeted pubs, supermarkets and off licences.

They began their spree on August 9, 2021, when they stole thousands of pounds in cash, alcohol, and cigarettes in a string of incidents in Dudley.

They also stole a total of 20 vehicles from residential and commercial premises in the West Midlands and Staffordshire.

Some of these vehicles were used during the armed robberies, police said. On August 9, three armed masked men threatened staff at a pub on Gospel End Road in Sedgley and demanded the till to be emptied in a bag for them.

Similar offences were then committed in Dudley, Wombourne, Stourbridge, Gornal, Wordsley, Rowley Regis and Bilston.
