THE owner of a 'struggling' cowboy bar near Birmingham has ridden off into the sunset after a year.

Last Chance Saloon is closing after just over a year

Located on Bromsgrove High Street, Last Chance Saloon was an American-style bar which catered for country music fans and showcased sports from the other side of the pond.

Hiring a chef who previously cooked in America, owner Lee Rushton wanted to bring a taste of the States to the Midlands

Opening on October 12 last year, Lee announced his 'dream' has reached the end of the line.

Citing a number of reasons behind the closure, he said word 'hasn't spread as far as we would have hoped.
