NHS bosses go green with electric vehicle fleet

NHS Tayside is making significant strides to reduce transport emissions whilst supporting Scotland's journey to net zero.

Currently two-thirds of NHS Tayside's vehicle fleet is electric or hybrid, with 60 per cent fully electric vehicles (EVs) and six per cent hybrids.

This places NHS Tayside ahead of the Scottish average and demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability.

The remaining fleet will continue to be phased out as part of an ambitious replacement programme and work will continue to meet the decarbonisation targets set by Scottish Government.
