Matty Foulds admits he was always intrigued by idea of finding a club in Scotland.

- FRASER MACKIE

After good reviews from two pals who played for Saints last season, the left-back now gets the chance to see for himself.

Foulds sourced thoughts from Stephen Duke-McKenna and Elliot Watt before committing to a two-year Perth deal.

The 27-year-old was a Harrogate Town teammate of Duke-McKenna and played with Watt at hometown club Bradford City.

"I've always said to my family and friends that I wanted to experience Scottish football," revealed Foulds.
