Delivering better public services is my key priority

As the MP for Stockport, one of my priorities is delivering better public services for our community.

I am committed to listening to residents and understanding the challenges we face together - whether it’s accessing an NHS dentist, getting timely care at Stepping Hill Hospital or ensuring our children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the support they deserve.

That's why I continue to raise these concerns directly with the relevant organisations and ministers, making sure your voices are heard where it matters most.

One issue that has come up time and again both on the doorstep and through correspondence is the decline in Royal Mail delivery services.

Many residents have told me they’ve missed medical appointments or received household bills late due to postal delays.

While more communication is now digital, reliable postal services remain essential for our community.
