There is now a three-way fight for the Premier League 2 title with Penarth, Neath and Carmarthen Wanderers all in contention.
The Wanderers threw the title race wide open with a five-wicket victory at home to Penarth.
Adeeb Ilyas scored 53 as the visitors were restricted to 174-9 in their 50 overs. Owain Binding took 3-21.
Wanderers skipper Gareth Thomas then steered his side home with a fluent 61. Wicketkeeper Kyle Marsh added 44.
Penarth’s loss allowed Neath to close the gap at the top to just four points as they won at Mumbles by three wickets.
The home side batted first and were all out for 143. Tim Hemp top-scored with 43, while Sean Griffiths and Joe Parkhouse both took three wickets.
