It has been an exciting month since the return of the Betway Premiership and the long wait has really been worthwhile. We've had five rounds of league fixtures and eight MTN8 matches, which all gave us a lot of excitement. There were several surprises and I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say this promises to be one of the best seasons we've ever had. After this FIFA international break, I will come back and share my thoughts on the league campaign we've had so far.

I know a lot of people might think this is going to be an easy game for our boys, but I beg to differ. Just like coach Hugo said, this is not going to be an easy outing for our team, especially if you still remember what happened in the first leg in Polokwane.

South Americans are very fragile
Last weekend we saw Orlando Pirates make history by becoming the first Carling Knockout champions to beat the All-Stars team, after both Magesi FC and Stellenbosch FC failed to do so in the previous two seasons. Pirates were forced to play without several of their regulars as they are in camp in preparation for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations. Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou's charges beat coach Manqoba Mngqithi's team 2-0 to be crowned champions, for the second time in a week. Congratulations to Bucs as they close the year on a high note.
