ENZO MARESCA watched Chelsea wilt in the searing hot sunshine in Philadelphia.

They surrendered Pedro Neto's first-half lead and crashed to defeat before substitute Nicolas Jackson then got sent off for a shocking X-rated challenge.

That compounded a really bad afternoon here in the Lincoln Financial Field as Flamengo overwhelmed 10-man Chelsea in what looks to be the new world order in the Club World Cup.

After Botafogo beat pre-tournament favourites Paris Saint Germain, fellow Brazilian side Flamengo turned the game on its head in the space of six mad minutes with two goals and a red card.
