FIVE men who boasted bout “not doubling but trebling” their profits from a £4million drugs operation are facing lengthy jail-terms.
The gang was snared during a major probe with detectives also uncovering a narcotics lab in a bedroom of one of the member’s flats.
Yesterday, at the High Court in Glasgow, Ian McIntyre, 31, Kieran Doherty, 30, Calum McKelvie, 29, Jack Sanderson, 34, and Martin Tracey, 31, each pled guilty to a charge of being involved in serious organised crime in 2023 and 2024.
The arrests took place during a Police Scotland probe codenamed “Operation Silouhette”.
Prosecutor Derick Nelson said: “The group were involved in the large-scale supply of illicit drugs and laundering of cash collected. Evidence included the discovery of what is described by police as a ‘drugs factory’.”

The advocate depute went on: “Using a safe house for storage of money — the-then home of Doherty in Gartcosh, Lanarkshire — large amounts of cash were received and transferred to finance the manufacture, division and supply of drugs.
