Osmand is Celts-bound but Kvistgaarden bid is dead

CELTIC have agreed a deal to sign Fulham striker Callum Osmand - but also bowed out of a bidding war for long-term target Mathias Kvistgaarden.

The Hoops only need to pay training compensation for 19-year-old striker Osmand, right, due to cross-border transfer regulations.

The Welshman came through the Fulham academy and has been a prolific scorer for their under-21s, netting 10 goals in 17 games in Premier League 2 last season.

Osmand has been capped up to U17 level for Wales, having also represented England age-group teams when he was younger.

Parkhead manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to bolster his frontline but it is understood he has dropped interest in Brondby’s Kvistgaarden.
