Only soaking...Camilla's Darcy challenge to aristocratic host

QUEEN Camilla dipped into cheeky humour yesterday as she joked about Colin Firth's ringing wet Mr Darcy emerging from a lake in the BBC's version of Pride And Prejudice.

She teased her host, Earl of Burlington William Cavendish, 56 - heir to the Duke of Devonshire - to huge laughter. Camilla suggested: "Maybe, William, you could be persuaded to reenact this memorable moment in the lake here a little later on - to add to the excitement of the day?"

Although she was fighting a croaky throat from acute sinusitis, a day after accompanying King Charles at Donald Trump's state visit, the Queen, 78, was in her element at Chatsworth House to celebrate her beloved Queen's Reading Room charity's third annual festival.
