Oh boy, it's all kicking off tonight

GLASGOW boss Franco Smith admits it's going to be a strange feeling going up against his son tonight.

Warriors open their URC campaign at home to the Sharks at Scotstoun.

The South Africans have travelled without their Springbok internationals, but they have named Jean Smith on the bench - Franco's 22-year-old son.

It's the second time the Glasgow boss has faced up against one of his kids with Franco Jr also a rugby player and he admits it's his wife who finds it the toughest to deal with.

The Glasgow head coach said: "It will be very good to see Jean out there.

"He's worked really hard to come back from two back-to-back injuries.

"I'm really excited for him to make his debut, hopefully here against us.

"The Sharks have been in town since Monday, so his mum had him over for dinner.
